# Available decoration methods
## A summary about decoration methods
Dreamship works with a large network of production partners to provide a diversity of decoration methods to our businesses. The decoration type used to produce each item is available in its item catalog page, in Dreamship portal.
Dreamship offer the following decoration methods:
**Dye Sublimation**
Dye sublimation is a digital printing technology that uses heat transfer to apply an image to the intended substrate. Also referred to as digital sublimation, the process is commonly used for decorating apparel, glass and ceramic, signs and banners as well as other items with sublimation-friendly surfaces.
**Direct to Garment**
Direct-to-garment printing (DTG) is a process of printing on textiles using specialized water-base ink jet technology. DTG printers typically have a platen designed to hold the garment in a fixed position, and the printer inks are jetted or sprayed onto the textile by the print head.
**Direct print**
Direct Print leverages both offset printing and digital printing techniques using a heated surface before transferring the ink onto the substrate using pressure. This method enables high quality and ca be used with a large variety of substrates such as paper and canvas material.
**UV printing**
UV printing leveraged digital printing methods using ultra-violet lights to dry or cure ink as it is printed. This printing techniques gives clear print details and works well if highly detailed artworks. UV printing can be used on a wide range of substrates such as glass, metal, wood, plastics and ceramics.
**DTFx**
DTFx is am improved Direct to Film method that transfers images from film onto fabric using a heat press mechanism. This printing technique ensures unmatched print and color consistency. DTFx can be used on all types of fabric from mixed cotton to polyester items which gives it a high versatility use.
**Mixed**
Mixed refers to kit items gathering several printed goods each using its own print method.
