Basic information about orders delivery

When will my order have tracking number?

Your order will have a tracking number after being shipped out. Normally, the tracking will live within 24 hrs after ship out. 

Sometimes the carriers may delay scanning packages and the tracking is not on live after 24 hours. In that case, please follow for more 24 hours for the package to be scanned. If the tracking is not live within 48 hours after ship out, kindly contact us for further assistance.

Meaning of common delivery status notice?

“Forwarded”: USPS package forwarding is when your mail and packages are sent to another address other than your usual address. This mostly happens when customers move or change your location temporarily

“Insufficient Address”: The message “Insufficient Address” means that some crucial information has been missed off the address label of your parcel. This may be because your parcel's label has got smudged or damaged, or because it was not written correctly in the first place

“Vacant”: Tracking may have a "Vacant" notice for one of the following common circumstances: The address appears vacant (though someone may still be residing at the address or picking up mail from the address); mail is not being removed from the box; the customer is residing at a new address.

“Addressee Unknown”: Addressee Unknown means that the package was addressed to somebody, who is not known to live at that address. This can be due to incorrect spelling, or the package being addressed to somebody who is not a resident of that household.

Can Dreamship guarantee the delivery date?

We do have ESTIMATED delivery time for each shipping methods based on the data collected in the past:

  • Economy: 4-8 business days
  • Ground: 2-5 business days
  • Express: 2-4 business days
  • 2-day: 1-2 business days
  • International shipping: 7-21 business days

However, we can not guarantee the exact delivery date because the shipping time depends a lot on the carrier & the shipping situation, it's not something that we can take control over. In short, we can neither guarantee the exact delivery date or push the delivery.

Why does it take so long for my international order to be delivered?

The package shipped outside of the US will have to come through a lot of sorting process and facility. The custom clearance time is also based on which country the package is being shipped to. 

Ideally, it will take 7-21 business days for international order to transit. However, it is normal for these orders to arrive later than the estimated time due to complicated international transit processes. 

Tracking said delivered but my customer did not receive the package, what do I do?

If the tracking information shows that the package was delivered but your customer can't find it,

carrier may have placed it in a safer location, please check:

  • Mailbox
  • Porch
  • Garage
  • Any area out of potential weather hazards
  • Exterior doors and any locations where the package could be placed
  • Check your mailbox again as some packages come separately from your regular mail.
  • Check with others in your house that may have accepted it.

In rare cases, package may show as 'delivered' but could take additional 24 hours.

Most of the time, the last-mile carrier of the packages is USPS. If it has been over 24 hours from the 'delivered' status, please file a request to USPS. You will receive a confirmation number and a contact within 2-3 business days.

Once you have a lost or misdelivery confirmation from USPS, please create a ticket, a refund will be processed for that order.
