When can I edit my order?

You can edit your orders when they are in draft state.

After submitting, you can cancel orders to edit details when they are marked as "Rejected" or "Submitted". Once orders get updated to "Accepted," they are sent to vendors where all processes become automated and no further changes can be made. 

Please be aware that due to the automatic order process, we are also unable to hold the delivery after production.

Unverified address, what do I do?

Step 1: Confirm the address with customer and ask if they have received packages delivered to this address recently

Step 2: Correct the address (if needed) on Dreamship app to see if it is verified

Step 3: If the address is still not verified and the customer has confirmed that they have received  packages delivered to this address recently you can choose “Skip verification”. Please be noted that when you tick Skip verification, Dreamship will NOT be responsible for the case that the packages cannot be delivered / returned due to the incorrect address).

Are all verified addresses deliverable?

Not all verified addresses are necessarily deliverable. Verification is simply a filtering step to ensure that the address is filled in the correct format and that the main components of the address can be located (such as the street name and city). Please remember to remind your customers to provide accurate and complete addresses. For example, if a customer resides in an apartment building, the address will need to include the apartment number.

How are shipping charges calculated if my customer orders multiple items in one order?

From the second item of a multiple item-order, the shipping fee will be calculated as an additional shipping cost. For example, the total cost of an order with two items can be calculated using the following formula: total = (Product cost of 2 items) + (first shipping cost) + (additional shipping cost).

It is important to note that these items must be the same product.

How do I pay for my order?

When an order is placed on the Dreamship app, we will automatically charge the order after 1 hour of being submitted. As long as your billing options are valid, there are no manual actions needed.

Why is my address changed after verification?

Optimization:

The order address may have minor changes due to the optimization process. Optimization is a feature built in verification service. We verify based on the closest address found in the verification system and use that address. 

In the majority of cases our optimizations fix major errors from merchants. For example: spelling errors, zip code errors.

If you do not want to use our verification service, you can use the skip_verification fields in the CSV import or API docs. In which case you are responsible for all address verification and optimization, and are not entitled to any refunds from undeliverable packages.
